About 80% Decrease in Number of Visas Issued by France in 2020

A decrease of 79.8 per cent has been marked in the number of visas issued by French consulates during 2020.
The number of short-stay visas for the Schengen Zone has decreased by 82 per cent, while the number of long-stay visas issued marked a 37.1 per cent decline, compared to 2019 figures, in which year French authorities granted 3.5 million visas, SchengenVisaInfo.com reports.
